Three Horizon 2020 rail projects launched

Brussels: A transport project focusing on developing a digitalised rail network has begun its work after receiving funding from Horizon 2020.

The IN2RAIL project focuses on addressing issues regarding the maintenance, management, engineering, energy consumption and infrastructure of Europe’s railways. The venture will use the funding from the Commission to help create a network that is cost effective, has good capacity and is resilient.
