Road transport

The strategic geographical position of Bulgaria determines directing the road transit transport from West Europe through Serbia/border point Dragoman fr./:

  • via Svilengrad fr. – to Turkey and the Middle East;
  • via Russe fr. – to Romania and C.I.S. countries;
  • via Kulata fr. – to Greece.

Trans Balkani provides to its clients road transport from and to Bulgaria to and from C.I.S. and Europe based on signed contracts with different carriers. 

Particular significance for the road transport in Bulgaria has the E-85 Russe-Svilengrad International Road, directing to Greece, Turkey and Middle East; the E-83 Russe-Sofia International Road, the E-70 Russe-Varna Road; the international road E-80 Dragoman-Svilengrad; the international road E-79 Vidin-Kulata. The road E-70 Russe-Varna provides a direct link of the countries of Central and West Europe with the ferry connection Varna-Ilichevsk-Poti/Batumi.

The road by the Danube Bridge connects Bulgaria with Romania and with the C.I.S. countries and Western Europe.
