Terminating the navigation by ferry from Varna to Poti

2015-03-20

According to the information from Navigation Maritime Bulgare (NAVIBULGAR®), NAVIBULGAR together with Ukrferri are decided to terminate the navigation by ferry to Poti and reorientation of all cargo through the port of Batumi. This decision was dictated by the unfriendly policy of the port of Poti in relation to the ferry (higher fares, unjustified fines, constantly busy ferry wharves of tankers). Given the above, from the NAVIBULGAR turn to stakeholders to redirect wagons on their way, or in station Ilichevsk ferry, from Poti to Batumi and not to give confirmation for shipments to Poti. As compensation for the additional costs for forwarding wagons from Poti to Batumi, there not will be charged winter allowance of 100 USD.
