A new ship is launched from Burgas to Poti

Ultra modern ship will be launched today on the line Burgas - Poti. This was announced by the operating company Port Bulgaria West. The regular connection between the two ports will be officially opened today - 13.08.2014.

The aim of the operator Port Bulgaria West is  to develop a secure sea line that will connect  the Caucasian and Transcaucasian regions with the European union and Russia, so that from November the line will be extended to Novorossiysk. A modern ROPAX vessel will transport cars and tourists. Different cargoes will be forwarded between Turkey and Russia.

The total length of the car deck is 1900 m, which means that the ship can carry more than 100 heavy trucks.

In case of increasing of the volume of transportations a second vessel will be launched down the line.
