Competition at freight terminals in Norway

Greater competition will result in better services at freight terminals and more freight on the railways. Under commission from the Norwegian Ministry of Transport and Communications, the Norwegian National Rail Administration is now paving the way for competition at the terminals in Stavanger and Trondheim. In 2017, competition will be introduced for operation of the 12 freight terminals in Norway.
